BBC Sport contacted me to direct the first episode of the World Beaters series with netball superstar Geva Mentor. The concept; elevate women's sport by raising the profiles of our best female athletes. By using documentary stories we can create positivity around the world's greatest sportswomen by showcasing their personality, physicality and pursuit of sporting excellence.
Shot over 2 days in Melbourne we filmed Geva on the courts for her interview used the Errol Morris Eye-Direct camera set-up to get a more present one-on-one form of storytelling.
